Accessory Cases
These special cases have foam slots for protecting fragile telescope parts, like eyepieces and filters.
Barlows
When placed between the telescope and eyepiece, the extra focal length increases magnification.
Eyepieces
Long focal length eyepieces have low power and a wide field of view. They are used for looking at large objects, like nebular and clusters.
Short focal length eyepieces have high power and a narrow field of view. They are used for looking at the moon and planets.
Filters
Most sky objects look better when certain colours are blocked by filters. Solar filters block most of the light from the sun so that it can be viewed normally.
Mount Drives
Battery powered motor that connects to the gears of an equatorial mount and keeps a sky object in focus. Essential for photography that require long exposure times.
